Zonbu notebook is a cheap inexpensive laptop. Usually people looking for more security prefer Linux based Operating Systems as it is very difficult to crack. Everex Zonbu Notebook has been launched recently and is available with a version of Linux OS. It comes with a service that automatically provides all the software, storage, updates, and maintenance you need without any of the hassle (or viruses) typical of other computers. It has a rechargable Lithium ion battery. which usually gives 2-3 hours of backup under normal load.

Everex Zonbu Notebook is around1.5 inches thick and weight is around 5 pounds. It has a 15.4 inch widescreen display. For clear display, it also has WXGA display i.e 1440 X 900 along with VGA output. Zonbu notebook is compatible with Apple Ipods but we need to purchase the music files.

The greatest disadvantage of this notebook is that you can not install any software inside it which means we can use only the softwares which comes inbuilt with this notebook. Thats bad...Now coming to price, you can get this notebook for 279$. Apart from this, in order to avail the Zonbu service, you need to pay an additional 14.95$/month.

The processor is Intel compatible and as I mentioned above, it is energy saver. With this cost, we cant get any other notebook. Its gentoo Linux (v. 2.6.22) is quite powerful and is capable to emulate any popular Operating System and providing a great GUI experience. This notebook has pre-installed Linux based OS and apart from this, it also comes with 20 Windows-like applications some of which I mentioned above. The hard disk capacity is only 60 GBs out of which 2 GB is already taken over by Linux. The RAM is 512 MBs which is okay to run normal applications. It has an inbuilt Wi-Fi card with 802.11 b/g specifications and for Internet connection, it comes with 10/100 Ethernet
