Sanyo releases ultra-bright twin-lamp projector

Chatsworth (CA) - Today, Sanyo announced a new two-lamp professional-grade projector, the PLC-XF71. Featuring 10,000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, this 1024 x 768 projector retails for a mere $16,995.

The PLC-XF71 includes an active filtering system which enables a continuous stream of fresh air. When the system detects clogging and reduced airflow, the filter automatically advances forward on a roll allowing full airflow to resume.

According to Mark Holt, VP and GM for Sanyo's Presentation Technologies, "The two-lamp projector is bright enough to use in large auditoriums, staging events or any other venue that requires a projector that can emit a good deal of light. The addition of our [filtering technology] means the PLC-XF71 can reliably meet the demands of our customers in the large event/conference and halls market as well as the digital signage and office-use markets."
