Micro-messaging service Twitter is known for its resistance to adding new features…and why should it, given the hundreds of Twitter apps that launch every week, extending the service’s functionality in new and unexpected ways?
Which makes it noteworthy that Twitter has quietly launched a new feature: suggestions. This new page under the “Find People” section suggests Twitter users you may want to follow, based on an as-yet-undisclosed algorithm.
Nifty. And yet, of all the features we’d like Twitter to launch, this wouldn’t exactly top our list: I’d much prefer bulk deletion of DMs, or syncing deletes between Twitter.com and Twitter search, so that deleted Tweets stay that way (although admittedly, this would make blogger’s lives far less interesting).
Which features do you consider essential for Twitter to add next?
